Enchantment and delight abound at Harewood’s Autumn Glory extravaganza this October half term (24th to 31st October). The woodland colours are renowned at Harewood and so it seems only right that their schedule of events celebrates all things autumnal during this fabulous display of colour.
Harewood is set to host a harvest food and folk festival – a cornucopia of produce to try and buy with regionally reared meats and Harewood-grown vegetables as well as folk bands, craft workshops and demonstrations. Combined with our refreshed and restocked Courtyard Shop and fun indoor play and learning space, The Geopods, it’s retail therapy with a sustainable twist!
Satisfy your inner yearning to get your hands dirty by learning to build your own dry-stone wall, or try some glass-blowing.
For little ones, broomstick making, story telling, lantern making, scarecrow trails, leaf and vegetable printing, plus other kiddicraft activities will keep small hands busy, with a chance to take part in our collaborative art project. Twilight tales will set the pulses racing and the Enchanted Wood will wear out little legs.
A great value day out, Autumn Glory restocks the energy levels in time for the onset of winter. We’ll be open from 10am to 4pm daily, entry free to Harewood Cardholders and included with all day tickets. Go online for more details, www.harewood.org/autumnglory.
For more information on Harewood events go to www.harewood.org/whats-on or call 0113 218 1000. Some events may require a token spend to help with artist materials.
